Hi,

I currently have Sky Q with 1 multi room box.

if I moved to sky glass could I still watch sky on my other TVs? Would the multi box still work?

Afraid not @SCollin

When you migrate to Glass your Sky Q subscription is no longer valid and all Q equipment must be returned to Sky.

Sky will request return after your initial 30 days with Glass

The multi-room device for Glass is the Stream puck, plus the Whole Home subscription.

You could have just Stream pucks without the Glass television if you wish.

Out of interest, is there any particular reason you're thinking of moving from Q to Glass or Stream?

You need pucks for each TV but please be aware you can't mix Q & Stream together.

In that case get a better TV and stick to Q, seriously.

You also need to be aware of the differences between the two platforms. Do your research first.

@SCollin as SKY Glass is so tied to SKY services & the way it works I do echo @Anonymous 's advice that I think you would better looking at other TVs especially thinking about the longer term should you ever want to remove your reliance on SKY.

As @Anonymous says if you are still interested in SKY Glass please do your full research even if you would prefer the internet version of SKY's services, personally, I think SKY Stream is a better option - keeping SKY Services & TV separate

Some people do prefer SKY Glass / Stream to Q but many find the change not suitable & then revert

For maximum versatility, value for money and future proofing, I would recommend against buying a Glass TV. The technology is already 2 years out of date, yet being sold at a premium price.

If you really want to switch to a streaming service then buy a new TV from a reputable manufacturer and do a trial of Sky Stream. It will give you the exact same user experience as Sky Glass so you can see if the service works for you (it doesn't for many people).

Sky Glass is a very restrictive/different type of service with ongoing software and hardware issues nearly two years after its release. In all honesty it cannot be recommended unless you are in a situation where you cannot have a satellite dish and can only pay for a new TV via monthly payments over a long period of time.
