Technical issue adding sky sports

Cancelled sky sports a while back when I lost my job. Back working now and tried to add sky sports via the Web and TV and got a technical error each time.

Called and was in a queue for 50 mins and when I did get to an agent I was put on hold for 35 minutes before I hung up.

Why can't I just add sky sports?
