Remote working by itself?

While watching TV, it's like the remote is pressing buttons by itself. It randomly brings up a different hdmi port as if its going to change to it but then doesn't do it. Then when watching things on an app, every now and then it brings us the age/content warning flag at the top of the screen. What could be causing this?

This sounds like you have two different problems.
Firstly, sounds like a stuck button on your remote or it needs repairing.
Try repairing your Sky Q remote control as described in this help article here;

The second, is this with the Paramount+ app.
This is a known problem with tyhis app on Sky Q for some custiomers.

For me the autoplay fix mentioned in post 31 of that thread fixed the problem for me.
