My Sky Q box loses its guide every week, I then have to update the software manually....how do I get my box to automatically update....surely all Sky users don't lose their guide every week and have to manually update....?

Hi @garyb123 You are not updating your box. Running the Software Update when it is already on the latest Software version is simply power rebooting the box.

Thank you, my problem is that the guide disappears every week, it re-appears after my restarting the box....((which I thought was after a software update.....)...

is there any way to automate the restart so that the guide doesn't disappear?

Hi @garyb123 With your standby mode set to ECO, your box should reboot every night. Your Guide diappearing is not normal, and may be sympomatic of another problem.
