Sky Q remote some buttons not working

Hi. I've got up this morning to a few buttons not working on my sky Q remote, the search button, the right directional button & the voice control button so far. Looked inside at the batteries & there's white powder around 1 & the wrap around the other is coming away at 1 end. I've replaced the batteries & cleaned inside. Buttons still don't work. I can't scroll along programs or apps

If your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (this is not available for customers in the ROI).

It’s sometimes a bit quicker to purchase a new one from a retailer / main supermarket.
