Sky Q box audio bbc one Dolby issue

So I have notice some audio problems before, but have noticed as I watch the womand football on bbc 1, there is like interference, this is on dolby and dolby plus, yet normal it's clear. Do the BBC even send a dolby siginal. I've only noticed this on bbc one.

P.s as the commentators speak you hear it, behind there voice.

Hi @TrebleTA I'm afraid I suspect it is your equipment, crystal clear here (especially the commentators) and yes it is Dolby Audio - DD according to my Sony TV. Sky Q box set to Dolby Digital Plus.

Maybe it's my tv then I have a samsung s95b, only 4 months or so old. I only get it when they speak like a bit of distortion behind there voice.

If I watch it live via the bbc app via the sky q box the issue is not there!

Also better picture quility as its via the app.

The current HD feed is 5.1 so maybe your TV has problems with 5.1 sound

BTW BBC1 & BBC 2 HD feeds do vary between 2.0 & 5.1 depending on content

The BBC iplayer app only uses 2.0 PCM

Hi @TrebleTA I have just checked, audio via the Sky Q BBC iPlayer is PCM (Normal), no Dolby. If the problem is with commentary on Dolby, then you need to check your centre speaker.

I put it down too, my tv is to new for the sky q box, and has problems. I can not see it being the tv as it would be all the time. Watching 4k Netflix etc is all fine I only get on live tv on uhd channels and now bbc.

So I've still been having the above issue. I think I may of found a fix. I turn the sky HDMI control to off.

Which I don't get.
