Sky Box Upgrade!

Hi all!

I've just purchased a LG OLED 4K UHD 2023 model) and was wondering if it's worth speaking to Sky to upgrade my box and whether this will enhance the picture further? Whilst the picture is ace and a vast improvement to what I had before I'm not convinced that it is churning out the 4K picture that the TV is capable of. Im fairly certain I have an older Sky Box.

Can you set the Sky box to 2160p for starters?

(note you need UHD subscription for any 4K material - very little broadcast (sports). Most is via download)

No, I did try this and the max I can get is 1080p so that was my reasoning for thinking I would need a new Sky Box.

Hi @Markyevz

I suspect if want to upgrade your Q box you will have to contact Sky directly. There will be a charge.
