Does anyone know if it's possible to switch off the play from start feature when you press the round button after switching to a channel ? I keep running iPlayer by mistake and that causes issues because iPlayer manages to lock my box up every time

There have been suggestions that SKY make this a user configurable option but they are not keen on any user configurable settiings & I am not sure they believe there is enough people who find it an issue

Personally I am convinced many who have not actually complained would find an option to switch it off useful

It's a real annoyance in as much as i'm in the habit of pressing tehcircle to get program synopsis, on BBC this then loads iPlayer , even doing a full back up, back up, back up to exit iPlayer 9 times out of 10 then stops the Sky Q box working, the current channel plays but as soon as you change channel black screen and just the audiio of the BBC channel, so its reboot time.

This is happening to me too. I thought it was an issue with the exiting the iPlayer but it might be confined to the watch from the start option. I will try to resist the temptation to press it and see if it causes the same issue going into the app and watching it on the channels option.

Surely, its not about making it configurable so much as fixing the integration with iPlayer. It is so annoying! I don't have the any problem with the other play from start channels. The only way I have found of getting out of this is to do a restart of the Q box. This can't be right and is so frustrating! Surely this is a bug that needs fixing? Not sure whether it is a Sky problem or BBC iPlayer problem, but someone please fix it!
