Hi I am moving home in a months time, to move in with a friend, we both have sky contracts in our names. we need to terminate one. Will i need to pay a termination fee and how much will it be ?

Termination fees are usually the rest of your discounted period, payable on your next bill in one go.
Whoever is of a mind to cancel be aware to cancel it completely you’ll need to contact Sky giving the required notice of 31 days. Note: the latest T’s and C’s explicitly state you cannot cancel within the minimum term and the contract can only be cancelled if Sky agree to it. If they do agree you’ll end up paying off the rest of the discounted term.

(Make sure the flag in the bottom right corner is the correct one ie; UK or ROI).
UK customer ~ The link may include an email link and also a Message Us option (which is normally available between 9am and 7.30pm).
ROI customer ~ it’s only by calling Sky Ireland or writing in.

If you cancel correctly you should receive a confirmation email from Sky.

If you’re cancelling Sky Q totally don’t forget to keep you proof of posting indefinitely when you return the box(es). Return packaging will be sent out towards the end of your notice period.

If you cancel sky and moving in with a friend it is one of the acceptable cancellations reasons you will need to give your friends postcode and address who you are moving in with but will cancel with 31 days notice without etc
