Sky mini stick on red light

Hi. I have 2 mini boxes that have worked fine until now. One now just had the red light and won't go out of standby. I have tried putting down with reset and powering back up with reset still pressed lots of times, but no better. If I unplug without reset the ref light goes on for about 3 servings when powered break up then no light. With reset red just stays on. What other options do I have of test didn't work. Thanks in advance.

Hi @BazzaN

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the Q box.
If this turns the Q box on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Thanks for the quick response. This is a mini box and I only have the red stand by light on. I have reset multiple times and the remote appears to be working.

Yes I know it is a mini @BazzaN

The Red/Amber standby light is also a power switch.

Just asking if you have tried this to switch it on

Hi @BazzaN

Just to be sure, the button you press and hold during a power up(ie the mini recovery procedure) is the small reset button on the back of the box (not the power switch on the front)

Hi - yes the I was using the small reset button at the back.
