Q box stuck on when TV turned off.

Paired Sky remore with Toshiba TV rtemore. Volume netc works. But, when power button held down on Sky, only TV turns off Sky Q box remains on. Preferencesv showsb Active Stanby on. Any ideas?

Have you tried all the Toshiba codes for your model? It's possible that there's no code which enables your Sky remote to switch off your TV.

That is correct @Dr.+Debra

Your remote is correctly paired.

Holding Power button for 3 secs will turn TV On (or Off if already on).

To turn Q box On or Off it's just a short press on the remote Power button.

If you set HDMI Cec control to On in both the Q box and TV settings then when you turn on the Q box with a short press the TV will also switch on due to Cec control .

Unfortunately Cec control on the Q box will not switch off the TV when the Q box is switched Off.

Both TV and Q box needs switching off independently. Short press for Q box Off and Long press for TV Off.

Thanks but the TV is not the problem. That turns off and on fine using the Sky remote. It's the Sky Q box which stays on instead of going into standby.

Don't know if this post is in response to mine or @Mark39 's.

Sky Q box will not go into Standby when switching off TV with a long press. See my previous post.

I misread your post. A long press won't turn off both your Sky Q box and your TV. You need a second short press to turn off your Sky box.

Same problem as the original post,Q remote works correctly but will not put the Q box into standby. Have reset the controller several times but still the same problem.
