Assume this is main box and not a mini
Try a Network Reset found in main Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.

Having the same problem after the lightning storms/power cuts last week. SKY Q main box won't connect to the internet/wireless but is ok if I stretch a cable from the router to the box. I have tried resetting the wireless/internet connection but it won't accept my password (the password has been entered correctly numerous times).

I have a 3rd party internet/router but everything else in the house works (laptops, tablets, desktop, phones etc).

There are no lights on my box and it does not respond to the remote control

It's happened several times now there's either a problem with the qbox or the router
