Sky Q mini box won't turn on

Hi, my Sky Q mini box won't turn on and is stuck with the red light on the front showing. I've tried the online troubleshooting, restarted main Q box, WiFi router and then restarted Mini box but it still won't start. Also tried resetting the Mini box but it still only shows a red light on the front. Please could someone help me with this issue?

Hi @nickvh

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front of the mini box.
If this turns the mini on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I've tried that - the LED on the box is red and stays red when the standby button is pressed i.e. the mini box still doesn't turn on.

Pairing the remote again doesn't allow me to turn the box on either.

I'm thinking it could be a dead box...
