Sky mini box - No Satellite Signal

Have reset and still not working..

Had a Hardware issue which was successfully reset on the main Sky Q box and that (main box) all works fine. Still cannot get the Minibox to work, says 'No Satellite Signal', did full reset amd unplugged etc. but no good. Software updates unsuccessful too..

Guidance/help need pls..?? Calling Sky is painful....

hi @ColinTye

As the Minis get their Satellite Signal vai the man box please can I suggest you try another power down restart of you main box & then your mini.

So the first thing is to restart your main SKY Q box :

Use the remote to place it into standby mode

Then remove the power to it (either switch off at mains or remove the power plug)

Wait at least 30s

Then re-apply the power & wait for it to fully restart - this may take a few minutes.

Once the main box is restarted do the same power down on the mini box.

Hi and thanks again for the tip.

the reboot worked for a while but now on to the 3rd time of sky q box saykng there's a hardware problem. I think that suggests I should ask or simply be given a new Sky Q box... pay so much for the service, believe thats warranted... agree??
