Cannot find Viaplay

I have set up an account on Viaplay via my phone but want to view on the tv but there is no Viaplay app - what do I do please?

Hi @Carolyn+LW

Viaplay is not an App on Q as it is a channel and in the TV Guide in the Sports section.

See Ch 412, 419 and 420

No it's not the Sports channel but one with Scandinavian drama.

Does a telephone helpline exist at Sky as I think I need to speak to someone (they only sent me link to this platform!)

hi @Carolyn+LW

I am afraid, calling SKY wouldn't help you with the app in this case as, as @oldfella says, there is no Viaplay app on SKY Q and you cannot add apps

The only Viaplay Access on SKY is to the sports specific channels

Select 'Other' and then 'Other Questions'

A 'Get in Touch' option then appears where to can get chat help or display their telephone number.

The website gives you access to the Scandinaian dramas etc and the Sport channels.

SkyQ will only give you the sports channels.

@Carolyn+LW Do you have a smart TV and if so can you not try to get the Viaplay App on your TV or if not maybe you have a firestick which supports the App. See below..

As @nigea99 says, there is no way to get the Viaplay App on Sky Q

I do have a Samsung Smart tv but the app is not on it. I don't use a Fire Stick.

Yes - doesn't come up under Apps on Sky or in the apps on the tv

It isn't available via Sky but you may find your TV has an app store where you can download additional apps. If not you will need a fire stick or similar device.
