Sky multi room box is stuck on standby

The sky multi room box in the bedroom has worked correctly for 6+ years without any issues. Recently the picture began to freeze and the box would get 'quite warn'. It is now stuck in standby mode and after many reboots it is still stuck in standby.

Hi @Mighty+C130J

Have you tried pressing the Standby button (Amber led) on the front right of the mini box.
If this turns the mini on
Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi oldfella,

Having rebooted the main sky box I have rebooted the mini. The green light is now on, but no signal to the TV. I did try your solution but the green light remained on but nothing else!

Hi @Mighty+C130J

Try pressing and holding 7 & 9 together again on the remote until it's LED flashes 4 times.

This will set your remote to infrared mode.

This will work any Q box but does need line of sight. See if this will control the mini.

If you stlll have a green led and nothing happens try pointing the remote at the mini and press

Home 1 0 8 0 Home

on the remote.

This will try to set the mini to standard 1080i resolution.

Unforntunately the mini is still showing green, but is not responding to any instructions!!
