&lt;P&gt;No, a normal reboot does not affect previous recordings.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;put box into standby&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;switch off at plug&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;leave off for at least 30 seconds&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;switch back on at plug&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;follow on screen instructions&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;when the blue Q on front of box stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;then press the &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":house:"&gt;🏠&lt;/span&gt; button on the Sky Q remote&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Be aware some features may take 5-10 mins to return.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have tried the soft reset and it contours to do this I should have said it's not only my recordings it's when we stream as well so I can only assume it maybe my internet !? We have a fast internet and had &amp;nbsp;fibre put in but I can honestly say I have not been impressed with the internet any thoughts ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
