Remote can't control Sky Q box

Got a new remote as the last one stopped working. New one worked for a while, but is now not controlling the box. Have tried doing the 7/9 1/3 reset, the lights flash on the remote but nothing happens with the box. Obviously batteries are new and no buttons stuck.

@Moorland2 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then

Try resetting your remote.
Press the buttons 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes twice then follow onscreen instructions to repair the remote.

Yes done that, also forced the box to an update but still no joy.
