&lt;P&gt;As&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/9873"&gt;@GD1&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;says the LNB (the electronic bit on the dish) that is used for SKY Q will only work with the newer 4K Freesat Receivers&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you want freesat you would thus have 2 options - 1) buy a compatible freesat box or 2) - assuming youyr TV has builtin freesat - get the 'Wideband' LNB changed for a 'Universal' LNB that Freesat capable TVs &amp;amp; older freesat boxes use&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm about to cancel my subscription with Sky but was considering using the dish for Freesat.&amp;nbsp; Is this possible?&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The TV is new so hopefully compatible with current boxes but the dish was installed a number of years ago so not sure if it's compatible with current boxes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
