Minibox remote issues

Hi,

Can someone tell me how to pair two remotes to my minibox not the main Q box.

I've pressed 7+9 then 1+2 which works but it deletes the previous one paired how do you

get round this?

Hi @Guinness72

Afraid you can only pair one Bluetooth remote to a Q box.

You can pair two remotes if you set one to infrared mode (by pressing 7 & 9).

Of course the infrared remote with not have Voice control.

Ok that makes sense but how do I do that pair up Bluetooth 1st then pair up 2nd handset but press 7+9 to use IR only ?

hi @Guinness72
Pressing and holding 7 & 9 until the remote LED flashes 4 times will set any Bluetooth remote to infrared .

It will then need line of sight to work any Q box.

You pair another remote to the Q box by pressing 1 & 3 and following onscreen instructions.

If you want 2 remotes to be able to be used with the TV reset & pair the one you want to be infrared first (reset with 7&9 first then 1 &3)

once paired press & hold 4 & 6 together to reset it to use IR only (rather than the full reset of 7 & 9 )

Then reset & pair the one want to use in bouetooth mode
