topic TV package in Sky Q

Do I need the sky TV package when I dont watch the sky TV channels, I watch disney+ lions gate and other apps that I can watch through my TV. I am paying for TV and broadband but don't use the TV package, I do have netflix through sky, would I need to register that separate. Hate paying for things i don't use.

Hi @Susan81

If you want to keep Q boxes then you need to keep the Sky Q Signature TV pack as this is compulsory unless you take the following pack.

There's a basic TV package which is called Sky Essentials.

This can be used instead of Sky Signature.

@Susan81It is the basic Sky pack so to have Q you must have it.

HOWEVER once your Sky contract is up you could cancel Sky completely and if you have a smart TV use a combination of either freesat or freeview and pay for the streaming apps you want to use.
