Sky mini box incompatable with Samsung one connect box.

It is totally unbelievable that sky or Samsung cannot supply a fix for an issue which is so well known and ongoing. Reading other posts this has been an issue for some years now. I have tried resetting the TV, resetting the mini box. Checking the mini box on other TVs in the house it works fine. If the TV it doesn't work on was my main TV I would have had to get rid of Sky or change the TV. It's all very well Sky posting that their software people are looking into it but surely this could be sorted if they actually contacted Samsung and they worked together to sort it.

The issue is.....turn the mini box on and the welcome screen comes on the TV . When the TV screen goes blank which the mini box instigates the TV then shows a no signal sign on the screen and nothing else happens.

The mini box works on all the other TVs in the house. The other connections going through the one connect box all work correctly. They are ethernet and aerial connections. There seems to be some sort of comparability issue between the mini box and the one connect box.

Others have posted similar issues .

@Snakes+and+Arrows so what happens if you switch the TV on with the TV remote then switch the mini box on with the mini remote

If I turn on the TV with the TV remote then turn on the mini box with the sky remote the TV displays no signal.

With mine if I use any remote on their own, don't need to use both, the tv and the sky boxes turn on automatically and it has worked that way with two different versions of a one connect box. Is hdmi control switched on for both the tv and the minibox?

Have tried having both hdmi controls switched on and off. It seems to make no difference.

I'm also suffering from this same issue. Have a 2022 Samsung Frame/Art TV with a one connect box. I can't seem to get any HDMI connections working (Tv streams just fine). It knows there's a connection present on any of the 4 HDMI ports. Also the TV can do a cable test, which always passes if there's a device (in the case a Sky Q mini) connected and powered on.
However without fail I get no picture or sound and the TV thinks the source is not present..

if I move the Sky Q mini downstairs and onto a Sony Bravia. Works fine....

I actually have 2 one connect boxes available and both display same symptoms. There has to be some compatibility issue with the Samsung connections or Software....?

Has anyone come up with any solutions for this issue yet..,, Mighty frustrating...!

I have found no answer to this problem as of yet. I have three mini boxes which all work on other TV's that don't have a one connect box. They all do not work on the Samsung tv which uses the one connect box. At the moment am at a total loss as to what to do next.

I'm experiencing the same issues as above except it's my actual sky q box. Worked well on my fame TV for a few months then the 'can't connect to hdmi' message started, followed by the picture flickering in and out. Now it won't stop. Can't figure out what the problem is. It's 100% the frame tv. As connecting sky q to others BTS still works fine. Has anyone found a soloution to the problem?

I haven't managed to find what was causing my issue and had actually given up trying. Just happened to try again after several months and the issue seems to have corrected itself.

Very strange and not sure how long it will continue working, so fingers crossed!
