Pin protection problem

So as sky wont let me talk to an actual person I am on here to ask for help please

I have been into settings and made sure all is switched off in regards to pin access

but every time I change channel it keeps asking me for a pin which I don't need

I have tried lots of stuff

please help

PIN entry is required if the channel being turned to is carrying post-watershed content in pre-watershed hours: that's a requirement of the Broadcasting Code and cannot be turned off using parental controls.

If every tuning change returns a PIN request then that's an error, and you should try rebooting the box at the mains plug. Contact Sky for a hardware swap if this doesn't resolve the issue.
