Hi, I currently have a sky+ hd box. How do I go about changing to Sky Q and will it cost anything to do this?

Give Sky a ring and ask them. Most people can switch for free.

I think you will need to call SKY - let us know if you need a contact number.

You may get offered an upgrade for free but I would suggest you read some notes I have put together for people considering switch - I mention something to note when often the upgrade is free
