Remote not working on Sounbox

Until today I could control sound on my Sky remote and Soundbox remote. Now I can do neither - both remotes do not control sound, I can only control sound usingthe buttons on the Soundbox itself. I have tried resetting the Sounbox and have powered down Sky Q box etc but still same issue.

The remote needs re-paired, Point the remote at the box and hold 1+3 at the same time and follow the on screen instructions

Thanks, but this did not work - the remote is set to control the Soundox not the TV. The Soundox remote does not work either?

When you set the remote up it will ask you if you want to control the TV Volume, set that up first so you can see on the TV the visual for the volume going up and down and then the next step should ask you if you want to control the volume for your soundbar?

Once that's all set correctly it should work no bother

Thanks, but that wont work.

I have the Sky Sounbox (Devialet) - the remote can control sound on TV or Soundbox but not both at same time. As I am connected to Soundbox when I try to re-pair the remote it will not recognise my TV as sound routed through Soundbox. If I disconect Soundbox and have traditional connections the remote will control sound on my TV. The fact that the Devialet control nor the Sky remote will control sound makes me think the Soundbox has developed a fault.

Exactly the same issue here in the last 2 days. No remote (including soundbox original) will control the volume. Very strange!! Any ideas welcome - already paired remote to Q box again and still no joy!

Any fix on this? My Sky Devialet soundbar will not work with any remote, seems to be the soundbar that is the issue as I have tried several remotes. Is there a way to install a new IR receiver on the soundbar? Or is there any other solutions?

As of yesterday, I'm having exactly the same issue - no remotes can now control the sound bar.

Go to settings>remote control>sky q remote>control a speak system then search for "Sky" as the brand and follow instructions

As others have reported, I can no longer control my Sky soundbox with the supplied remote for the soundbox. It was fine for the past few years. Batteries are fine. Only way to control it now is using the physical buttons on the soundbox. Has anyone found a solution (I don't have a Sky tv box anymore).

I reflashed the soundbox with the latest firmware and the remote started working again. Must have been the receiver in the unit.

I've had an issue when I got a new SKY Q remote that it wouldn't connect to the SkY Devialet soundbox to change the volume. Managed to fix this by putting the Soundbox into Bluetooth discovery mode then pressing 1+3 on the SKY remote. Works perfectly now

You need to search Sky website for firmware update. Put it on a USB drive and insert it at the back and reboot the soundbox.

I am having the same issue, soundbox remote and sky q remote both working on soundbox up till yesterday. Both not working now, i've tried to repair, reboot and tried to download new firmware. I can't seem to download firmware, i click the link and i get no download options just a file that opens on a word document. Any help please?
