Extending sky cables

Hello I'm moving my living room around and want to move the tv across to another wall, but the sky q cables from the dish aren't long enough. While the ceiling is down I'm looking at extending the cables and putting an outside jusction box for the sky cables to connected onto. Can anyone recommend a outside box and extension cables please.

Satellite Cable is rarely joined outside & generally we recommend junctions inside (although ideally none) so you would probably need to search specialist sites.

You could possibly do it with internal connectors suitably placed in a general weatherpoof box aimed at other cables (e.g. electrical) with suitable protection around entry & exit points

Although I am sure they exist I don't recall seeing any over the years using my multi-satellite kit (although I probably never looked)

That said I have one of my cables jointed with f-f connectors and totally wrapped in self-amalgamting tape which I needed to do after cutting through it with a hedge trimmer - oops

We generally recommend WF100 cable but if using for shorter lengths you could probably drop down a size

If you have the thin WF65 coaxial cables then CPC would appear to be able to supply these 'water resistant' Cablecon F type compression connectors which have an additional internal rubber seal. They should be installed with slightly more torque than fingers can provide.
