Can leave dvd settings back to Sky -

My mini q box has green lights on - no problem there but l can't leave dvd settings & return to HDMI. It seems the remote cannot give commands to tv

Which remote are you using? Use the remote for your DVD player to remove any settings screen by pressing the exit button or turn the DVD player off. Use the TV remote control to select the HDMI input that your Sky Q minibox is attached to, then you can use the Q remote to control the minibox.

Hi there many thx for speedy reply- l don't have original Technike control - popped dvd in and it played tried a different dvd & that was ok too.

But can't leave the dvd setting now- strangely l can turn tv on & off but that all. Green light on on mini box on

hi @Dibb

after ejecting the DVD try using the 'Source' button on the SKY remote - on the latest remotes with a blue voice button it is top right - on this & other remotes it is a slightly eliptical Rectangle with an arrow pointing in from the left.

If that doesn't work you may need to check TV for a physical button on the back to select the HDMI input that SKY is connected to (most TVs do have physical buttons but are often not easy to spot)

Have tried that but the tv stays on dvd each time l done it - the sky remote command not working when l press ok

Have you checked for a phyiscal button on the TV to change the Source ?

@DibbPost which model TV/DVD it is, there may be a AUX button or similar which allows you to use external inputs.

Hi everyone Managed to resolve dvd issue got another remote & turned tv manually onto sky
