My SkyQ box will not switch on also remote want switch on either. I've done all the necessary checks rebooted still I've even tried switching on manually still nothing??

Any ideas

I had this very same issue two days ago, after unplugging the Q box for a few minutes and reconnecting...after the initial boot-up the box remained in standby mode and the remote still wouldn't turn it on. I removed the battery's for about 30 minutes, when I popped them back in and pressed the power button it was all back to normal.

It happened about 18(ish) months ago as well, very odd.
