How do I activate Discovery plus ?

I am trying to activate discovery plus on our Q remote box (the installer dealt with the main box)

I have tried using the QR code and it is NOT even recognised

I have tried using the URL supplied and that is the same

Why does Sky make it so difficult to obtain something that I have paid for ?

When I try to create a discovery plus account - it seems that I have to pay even more for it

Where is the link to create a 2nd FREE account / linked to my Q account ?

"You've already linked your Sky and Discovery+ accounts

To start watching, open the Discovery+ app on your TV and select sign in"

is the result of my going to sky.com/discoveryplus-activate

Yes Discovery plus is activated on the main Q box but not the remote box in the bedroom

How do I get round this problem ?

It is a while since i did it bu twhen you try to login on the mini you should either get (or get the option to get) an access code

Login to disicoveryplus on a PC / Tablet then go to auth.dicsoveryplus/activate (you used to be able to go this from a link on your account but I don;t seem to see that now so you will need to type the address manually) - this should give you a page to enter the activation code

You should not try to create a new account just activate the mini as a device on your existing account

I have now done this and discovered that enabling it in the bedroom set up disables it on the main set down stairs

Meaning that every time we want to watch discovry plus we have to re-register the installation installation

That seems extremely stupid

that should not happen but unfortunately I have no idea as to what to advise to stop this happeneing - sorry
