Sky q box turns itself on

My Sky Q box turns itself on randomly. Happens during th3 day and at night. I have tried leaving the TV unplugged from the wall and it still happens - it turns itself on and also the Bose sound bar too - hence I know it has happened. Sky Q is connected to tv by hdmi and to sound bar by optical. Any ideas?

Why on earth did sky decide not to use seperate Amber and Green LEDs on the Q box?

I struggle to see when the box is off or not

Many thanks. Going through the Sky webpage it gave the impression that the best way to get a problem fixed was on this discussion board. In the end I found the phone number for Sky help and spent half an hour with a very helpful chap who went through a number of steps none of which seemed to help. New Q box arrives tomorrow!!
