Sky Q remote no longer controlling Toshiba TV

Hi, first post here - everythings been running smoothly so far with a quick switching it on and off.

About a month ago my Sky Q remote stopped controlling my TV (Toshiba - 65UL2063DB), I've went to set it up again with the model number - no use. I've went through all 14 manual tests for Toshiba and it's still not working. Has this TV been removed from a compatible list or is there a fault with my remote?

Batteries have been changed between testing.

@mcnulty9 try using vestel as the maker as i am sure they now make toshiba tv's

Hi @mcnulty9

Try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

If you cannot get it to pair try Other brands in the setup pairing

You'd think an existing model that worked wouldn't change though?

Thank you so much for your quick reply. I've just followed your instructions, unpaired and paired, and all 40 Other brands and still unsuccessful.

Totally bizarre. Have you tried with a 2nd remote from a mini, if you have one?

@Chodley Yeah I think it's strange too, considering I was able to pair the remote with the TV previously. I only have the one sky box so no other remotes, think I'll give the team a wee call. Thanks for your help.

I have the same issue but my remote stopped working to control my brand new Toshiba TV (43QA5D63DB) after just a few days. I've received a replacement remote today but still unable to pair it with my TV. Also tried Vestel but no luck.
