I'm looking to find out how I would go about getting my Ariel cable extended to move position of tv is this something I can get an electrician to do or does it need to be sky?

@Caitlin1268 Do you mean the cable from your Dish or your actual rooftop aerial, these are 2 different things, in any case you can just buy extension cables for either from any decent electrical retailer.

Sky doesn't use an aerial cable - you only need such a thing for Freeview. Do you mean the cables from the satellite dish to your Sky Q box? You can get cable extending kits from Amazon quite cheaply to do it yourself. You can also get aerial extension cables too if you did mean for Freeview.
Any handy person or electrician could do this for you. Sky would charge for an engineer to come and redo the cabling from your dish.

Satellite extension cables kits are readily available on Internet retail sites.

Just look for Satellite Extension cables.

Just bear in mind that you need two cables with the necessary two F connector fittings..

Some come as as a pair or as a twin (shotgun) cable and include the two female F connectors. However some are single cables where you need two.
