Relocation of sky dish

I have an engineer coming to relocate my sky dish tomorrow as next door have scaffolding blocking the signal, does anyone know if they need to come in the house to do this?

Hi @Miloturbo It all depends on whether they need to replace the cable. Also at the very least they will want to check that it is working.

And… the engineer will need your input on a potential new location and permission from a responsible adult to carry out the work.

@MiloturboThey will need to at least talk to you and they will probably need to rerun the cable from the new location to the main Q box.

It may not be possible to put the dish in a position where it can "see" the sattelite.
