    <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;i Can't get a wired or wifi connection at all from my Sky Q box - it finds the WIFI network but won't connect and the Wired option fails to acquire an IP address&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I've tried resetting everything in different orders but to no avail&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;We have virgin media broadband and are running between 200/500GB. Every device in the household including my company laptop, tablet and phone are connected so this isn't a virgin broadband issue. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;This is also a new 1TB box, less than 6 months old plus i also have a sky multi room box upstairs so this obviously isn't working either &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Assume you are carrying out a Network reset on the main Q box.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network. &lt;BR /&gt;Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to non Sky router.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
