Hi,

Does anyone know if when Sky replace a faulty Sky q box is it replaced with a brand new one or a refurbished one?

There will be new ones but imo more than likely refurbished (but fully tested).

As @Daniel0210 says it could be either but I think now that SKY's primary product is Glass/Stream that there will be less new SKY Q boxes available and more reconditioned ones as customers migrate.

This particulaly is the case with 2TB boxes as there have been a few shortages over recent years and the 2TB box has not been the 'standard' issue box since the 1TB HDR boxes became available.
