Two sky q accounts at the same property

Hi,

I am moving into my parents temporarily and planning on renting out my propery. They have sky q but I would like to keep my sky q account and move it to theirs so we can have 3 additional boxes and keep my sky sports etc....

Is this possible does anyone know?

No, sadly not unless maybe you set yourself up a little granny annex as Flat B or something!

Had this scenario before I moved out of my parent's house many moons ago. I became 106A to their 106 and all was well.

Hi @Ar+Tarn You would also need a separate broadband account as well. You cannot have two servers (Sky Q Main boxes) on the same network.

Again, caveated as mentioned by the phrase "many moons ago", when things weren't so tight. In those days a seperate phone line was needed - and I had one.

It did in those days certainly @Chodley

Forced, initially due to excessive internet use and the parental as fed up of hearing nothing but noise whenever they picked up their phone!

Two dishes on the back of the house, two phone lines and this two addresses. Postman asked once and soon worked out it was the same house (for billing), but the address never existed officially.
