Sky q remote voice control doesn't switch on comes up no signal have to press really hard same thing when switching off

Hi @Allan+william+tur

If you are trying to switch your Q box on by Voice control then this is not possible .

The Q box needs to be already on to accept Voice commands.

Sorry miss understanding the problem is turning the television on with the remote the engineer said say 123 and it comes on doesn't work have to press remote control button really hard and that doesn't always work

Hi @Allan+william+tur

No such command as 123 I'm afraid. No voice commands will operate the television; only the Q boxes

The Television can be switched on in two ways with the Q remote.

First is by HDMI control which must be turned on in the Q box and also the television settings.

Second way to turn Television On or Off is with a long (3 second) press on the Q remote Standby button provided the Television is correct paired with the Q remote. If it is paired you should find that the Q remote will adjust the volume on your television.
