I am having a problem viewing viaplay 1HD . It is the only channel I can't view and it happens quite a lot with this channel. It says there is a technical issue or the picture is frozen. It only happens on this channel and only when I am watching Scottish football.

Hi Mate

I run ELGIN CITY FC and we were trying to show the Scottish games and had the sane freezing picture and often distorted. I rang viaplay and they had no interest at all and were zero help. I rang sky and they did not even recognise the name and again were no help. I solved the problem by purchasing a new aerial with the solid dish instead of the mesh. This gives a stronger signal to the box. Our local rep then realigned the dish and its been fine since.

@gtattersMesh or solid should not make any difference however depending where you are in Scotland Sky should have provided the larger dish (zone 2, 60cm) most likely however it was the alignment being slightly out, it is very critical.

A solid dish has the disadvantage that it needs to be much more securely mounted as it is much easier to go out of alignment if you are in a windy area.
