How can sky jus put a series on the sky store when your more than half the way through it ?

im currently watching banshee im on series 3 episode 2 and its just disappeared series 1 , 2 & 4 are there jus not the season 3 ? But its all the sky store can some one help as i dont want to pay £25 each for this as sky already cost a fortune

@LeahmunI am afraid no one can help, it could be for licencing reasons or just because it is what Sky decided.

'Banshee' is the property of Warner Bros / HBO and it's entirely up to them to decide who gets to distribute it and how long that permission lasts.

Can I just mention that the series is unlikely to have just been put in the store but likely has also been available to buy for the time it was availble via your normal subscription .

The SKY Store is to quite a degree a separate entity & has different rights for purchase vs the Satellite/On demand availability via subscription

It thus just appears that they have switched because that is where you now find the episodes

As the others have mentioned most TV & films have rights which SKY only have for limited periods - some longer than others & these can come & go.

The same behaviour happens elsewhere for example Amazon Prime where from time to time some shows are available via the Amazon Prime TV subscription but also available to purchase & I noticed this with some seasons of Elementary where I was watching one series via it. Then it was only availble to purchase via Prime & then after a few months came back again

iv just checked and series 1,2 and 4 are available on catch up/. on demand on sky atlantic
