If you have a Sky+ box then just go to the free channels, so 101, 102, 103 etc...

The box which is a sky Q , just says viewing card required does not matter which channel, can I ring sky and get one???

@beverley+Hanstock You have posted on the Sky + board, not the Q board

On sky Q (if that is want you have) without a valid subscription to either the base pack or the sky essentials package, no channels are viewable as the equipment is loaned to you and must be returned upon full cancellation of account

@beverley+Hanstock where did you get the box from as you can only legitimately get Q boxes from Sky which are loaned to you for the duration of your time with Sky.

If you have aquired the box from anywhere else

A it will not work

B as it is the property of Sky then technically it is stolen goods as Sky own all Q boxes and they must be returned to Sky
