Sky Q Mini with Virgin Hub 3 / Pod

Hello all,

I have recently moved to Vrigin broadbad (cheaper, better speeds etc) however one of my Q Mini boxes is really struggling to work since doing so. I have a Wifi Pod position half way between the box & my Hub 3 router but it is not improving.

Any ways I can fix this?

Hi @JessicaSky95

Afraid minis will not connect to 3rd party WiFi.

They will only connect to Sky Broadband or the main Q box. You can also connect to an already connected mini.

Try a Network Reset on the mini found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect to nearest Q device by WPS.

You will be asked to press the WPS button on the nearest device (not on the mini you are trying to connect as the Network reset will start the WPS automatically)

Seem to have made progress on this, moved pod next to the Q mini and plugged an Ethernet cable directly in. Now showing as connected to the pod in app and running stable.

Both of my sky Q mini pods has blue screen and saying let's try that again press house to refresh your connection

@Sharon208 Have you tried rebooting your main Q box ie
putting your box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

then

reboot your mini boxes
