Check the CEC settings as the mini sends an 'on' signal via this. Check both the mini and TV to ensure HDMI settings are correct.

CEC is also known as "HDMI control"

Panasonics support CEC. They just all use different names for it, annoyingly.

do you want it to come on when you swtich the mini on (quick press) or when you hold fhe power button down for a few seconds?
