solved Sky Go for Mac neo 2026 - installation issues

so just solved the sky go error 001 when trying to insall sky go on my new mac neo -

No guarantee it will work for everyone but this is what solved my probem

Steps

Uninstalled any old sky go app / installer folders - these were lurking in multiple places the easiest way i knew i had them all was when i tried to find sky go in applications - it wasnt there

Before i downloaded from sky.com a new file to install - i went to finder / go / go to folder and searched for this ~/library/ApplicationSupport/

I then deleted anything from Sky go here

I then installed the zip folder from sky.com for mac - and opened this

Before i opened the Sky go app in there i right clicked and went to get info and ensured open in rosetta (i had also checked i had rosetta installed on macbook before any of the above)

i then opened sky go and it installed and worked first time
