Hello,

Im going to the usa soon.

I was wondering can I watch things that record to my sky q box on my sky go app when over there? Or is that not possible?

Was thinking of the evenings in the hotel, catch up on corrie! Lol

You should be able to as long as they are downloaded to the app before you go and that all your internet connections are disabled because the app will return an error if it detects that it is in the USA.

To clarify, 'placeshifting' is not possible.

The content which @caesarome refers to must be downloaded to the Sky Go from the Q box over a local network connection before leaving the UK/RoI.

It isn't possible to transfer recorded content from a Q box to a Go app once abroad.

For RoI-based Sky television subscribers, streaming into Go is possible when in other EU nations (and their overseas territories)
