Problem using "People & sharing"

When I use "People & sharing" to add a member, I have a problem.

I use the invite a member.

The link that is sent to my daughter arrives in her in box.

However when she clicks on it, there is no page loaded.

Has anyone seen this before?

People & sharing is in regards to giving someone access to view content on Sky Go

What is this in relation to, is it Sky Stream or Sky Go ?

The People & sharing in regards to services subscribed to is for another user view on Sky Go

People and Sharing provides the following 2 options

1) Give other users access to Sky Go on their own devices using a secondary SKY ID to view same content that the main sky account has subscribed

2) Allocate admin access to another user to manage that Sky main account (View the Bill and make payments. and Make changes to the account)

In regards to Sky Glass/Sky Stream

If another user is located at a different addresss they require a seperate subscription for Sky Glass/Sky Stream if they have those devices.

If other users don't want the above as in purchase and subscribe to Sky Glass/Sky Stream

The People And Sharing option though allows to give other users ability vew content on Sky Go with a secondary Sky ID

I have finally worked out a solution.

When the website sends you to "page not found", repeat the process a number of times and you eventually get the correct page.

Not a good design.

I've sent a link to two family members using the MySky App (via My Details, People & Sharing) however the recipients just get an "Oops there's a problem" error when clicking the link). Has anyone got ny idea why this happens?

Me too, the page just keeps saying "oops there's a problem" ...... of course there is ..... the cynic in me thinks that its unavailable because Sky don't want us to share ...... any help that can be offered would be gratefully received. .....

From memory, the other users had to create their own account first and log in before activating the link.

Please read the Answered post for a description of People and Sharing.

It is not for sharing Sky Stream, where you posted, it's as described in the answered post.

Would suggest trying what @Rob3210 on this thread suggested, perhaps doing so a few times.
