SKY Go javascript error

I signed up for Sky today and tried to install Sky Go on laptop with Windows 11 and have this error message above. I have tried to delete files and uninstall but the Sky go folder won't delete from my computer and I can't re-install.

Anyone know what i need to do? Pretty annoying tbh

I have just had the same error message and can't uninstall the program to reinstall it.

Sky Go Javascript Error: Enoent when updating app

I have had the Sky Go app for 5 years on my laptop using Windows 10 and recently tried to use Sky Go when it asked for an update.

When trying to update the app it comes up with an error message full of code.

When trying to delete the app it does not allow you to, even using 'run as administrator' it presents with the same below error message

how do i get sky go to work?

I would appreciate ifa member of the sky team can escalate this post and deal with me directly please.

I have and they are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard.

Right click your Sky Go shortcut and "Open file location" and then delete SkyGo. This should let you re-install it. I was having the same issue and this has worked for me.

what does it mean "delete sky go" ? Shall I delete the exe file?

What can you do if there is an issue preventing you from deleting the files or uninstalling Sky Go in order to reinstall the app? Blocked either way.

Same, I cant delete as it says open in another program... which it is not. very frustrating!

I have had the same error for the last four weeks after an upgrade to the SkyGo software. I am also using a Windows 11 Laptop.

Best reply i got and it worked was this:

Right click your Sky Go shortcut and "Open file location" and then delete SkyGo. This should let you re-install it

I tried that on Saturday several times , even after rebooting.
