&lt;P&gt;To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Unable to record on sky Q box remotely using sky go app</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm&amp;nbsp;unable to record on my sky Q box remotely using the sky go app. I don't get any error. It asks me if I want to record once or the series and seems to accept the request but then no recording on my box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It works if I'm on my home WiFi (where I can also see recordings) but not if I'm away from home. I spoke to sky who advised that I have to be on my home network to do this but that contradicts what I've read online!&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app, checked the software version on my Q Box and I also subscribe to multi-room (which is apparently a pre-requisite). &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What am I missing?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It doesn't matter what I use. 5G or another WiFi connection. Always have a good service and can connect to app and tv guide with no issue. It asks if I want to record once or series and then I see the R against the program. Then nothing on my scheduled recording on the actual Q box.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Mine is on the latest firmware for the Q box (Q310.000.13.00L ) and for the Sky Go app i'm on the latest software version 25.1.1.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Have you tried uninstalling the app from your mobile device then rebooting your Q box then re-installing the app and finally trying to record again to me it seems your Q box is not registering with the app to receive the record command.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The old Sky+ app was really good for checking that it was all registered and the correct viwing card was registered but this app is no longer available/supported&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/1953064"&gt;@crispy74&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have just tried this, iPhone 15 Pro 18.4.1 and Sky Go 25.1.1 and Sky Q 32B2xx Q310.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note, important, make sure that you connect to the Sky Q box at home first to establish the connection.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I rebooted my iPhone and turned off WiFi so using 4G. Opened the Sky Go App and selected TV Guide, "Record to Sky Box" and selected two future programmes, one Record once, other Record series. Now looking on the Sky Q box Scheduled Recording and they are both set to Record.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Interesting that having cancelled the scheduled recordings on the box, they both still show as to be recorded in Sky Go TV Guide.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
