Returning Sky customer. Trying to use Sky Go on MacBook Air M1 and keep getting message

You need the relevant Sky Tv subscription to watch this show. Code 1310

i have Sky Tv including Sky Sports & TNT sports.

I've made numerous calls to Sky customer services but they keep telling me it should work. Thinking of buying a windows laptop but don't want to waste money if there's a current problem with Sky Go that I'm not aware of. TIA

A few questions:

How long were you away from Sky before returning ?

Do your pay Sky or Bt/TNT for access to the TNT channels ?

I was away for 2 years. I pay Sky for the Tv/Sports package.

When you returned did you use yiur previous login to access the Sky Go app or did you create a new one ?

The TNT channels are not part of the Sky Sports package as they are a separate package on their own via Sky so if you are only a Sky Sports customer then you would not access to them via the app.

I created a new one but it seems the old one is still active but I'm told Sky have linked them. I can't get Sky Go to play anything whether it be sport or just a show.
im beginning to think it has something to do with my old account but im getting nowhere with customer services.

Forget about the ID issue for a minute, can you confirm that you only subscribe to the Sky Sports package and are not paying either Sky or BT/TNT access for the channels as this could be your issue as I mentioned yesterday.

I pay Sky for the entertainment channels, Sky Sport & TNT Sport. I don't have cinema and I only pay Sky for them.
