SKY GO with Essentials

I am only able to view Sky News on Sky Go. All other channels blocked. I am being asked to upgrade subscription. Should I not be able to view same channels on puck and Sky go. I have Essential package

I believe you should get Sky Go access, I certainly can't easily find anything saying you wouldn't.

Are you sure you're logged in with the right Sky account, and if so when did your subscription start?

Subscription started last Thursday. Only have one Sky account. Another peson in household had account at my address less than 2 years ago. A strange thing happened when signing into Sky Go. I got a welcome back message even though I never had a Sky account in the past.

I reng Sky and rep said Sky News is only channel availaable without upgrade to Sky Ultimate but I dont beleive thats right.

Well they may be right, I can't find anything clear online one way or the other but is there anything in your paperwork about this?
