Sky Go controls not appearing

I'm using Sky Go v25.1.2 on an iMac 3.1 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. It works well on Sky movies with the play button present but doesn't provide a play button for Sky Sports, so I'm unable to stop/start the picture. Anything else, non Sky it's the same, no play button. Have tried the update, reinstall suggestions to no avail. Has anyone else experienced this?
